...that tonight is Hannukah, but yum, latkes in bed for Christmas breakfast. (And over-easy eggs, and tomato juice, and snuggles. Yum.)

(Grated five potatoes of varying sizes that would probably equal three medium potatoes, added two eggs and a couple of tablespoons of flour, some salt, some (lots of) fresh-ground pepper. Fried in oil until golden brown. Kept warm in a 300F oven until my slacker sweethearts woke up.)

How could I forget the onion? I also grated a small onion in with the potatoes.

I make mine with a high proportion of onions, but I am an onion fanatic :)

Yeah, it could've used more onion. My mom puts lots of onions in everything -- her matzoh balls nearly fall apart because there's more onion than dough.
