I tried your recipe (at least, I THINK it's your recipe, sorry if I got the attribution wrong) for Potato Leek Soup tonight, and it was GREAT. Ordinarily, I'm not much of a soup person, but this was wonderful, very creamy and flavorful and easy to prepare. Thanks!

Were the ingredients

2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
2 large leeks, thinly sliced
4 c. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. heavy cream
dash grated nutmeg
1 Tbs. dried parsley flakes

If so, that's it! As I've mentioned before, I found it in the 1980's in some magazine (I know it wasn't a cooking mag), so *I* can't give the proper attribution for it. Did you do the bread bowls too or just the soup? Glad you enjoyed it!

That's it! And unfortunately, I didn't get to do the bread bowls, maybe next time. They sound like they'd go great with the soup, which was incredibly creamy. DH came in the door with his nose twitching, saying, "What are you making?" :)
